REFLECTION 8.8.16
Another Insight in this chapter about what it means for Jesus to be Lord.
Jesus is also Lord over the wind and the weather, to protect his followers.
The disciples are surprised. They saw the miracles yet their surprise reveals that they saw him as limited. They did turn to him in time of need … but in Mark it’s more a complaint than a prayer. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” – Mark 4:38
