As cell church principles moved into South America, they evolved into new forms as they adapted to a new cultural context. The two model churches here are the Elim Church of El Salvador, which implemented most of the Yoido model, and the Groups of 12 model the developed in the International Charismatic Mission in Columbia.
The author best known for articulating this stage of cell church development is Joel Comiskey.
